My background as a scientific model maker with the requirements for detail and accuracy has meant that I have often been asked, since leaving the Natural history Museum, to undertake models with a specific element of anatomical knowledge and with an educational intent. Anatomical models have always held great interest for me as I have long been fascinated by the encorché figures on display in the Wellcome Institute and in the Specola Museum in Florence. I also enjoy the challenge of dissection work that such commissions have entailed.
